Frederik Dahl Ihler

Frederik Ihler's 2025 was a year of two clubs in two countries. In March he went on loan from Molde to IF Elfsborg in Sweden's Allsvenskan. On 11 July the move was made permanent, with a contract running to the end of 2029 and a reported fee of about €1 million. Molde had signed him a year earlier for a reported €700,000. He scored seven goals in 14 league games for Elfsborg that season and added two in 23 appearances in 2026.

The route to Sweden ran through several lower-profile stops. He joined the AGF youth system in Aarhus in 2017 and made his senior debut in 2020, going on to play eight league games for the club. In 2022 he was loaned out twice: first to Valur in Iceland, where he played three times, then to Skive IK in Denmark. At Skive he scored 10 goals in 25 league matches.

In July 2023 he moved permanently to Landskrona BoIS in the Swedish Superettan, for an undisclosed fee. He again scored 10 goals, this time in 30 appearances, and that was enough for Molde to pay for him in August 2024.

His time in Norway was short. He played 11 Eliteserien games in 2024 and scored twice. He was in the squad that reached the Norwegian Cup final, which Fredrikstad won on penalties after a 0–0 draw. Ihler came on as a substitute in the 91st minute and did not concede either.

For Denmark he has played at youth level: two games for the U16s, four for the U17s and one for the U19s. He has not yet been capped by the senior side.
