Gamid Agalarov

Gamid Agalarov made his professional debut in the Russian Premier League with Anzhi Makhachkala in 2018, before the club's relegation pushed him into the second-tier FNL, where he scored five goals in 16 appearances in the 2018–19 season.

A move to Ufa followed in January 2020, and after a loan spell at Volgar Astrakhan produced five goals in 14 matches, Agalarov returned to Ufa for the 2021–22 season and broke through. He finished as the Russian Premier League's top scorer with 19 goals, was named the league's Best Young Player, picked up the Player of the Month award for October 2021, and was ranked first in that season's list of the 33 best players in the Russian championship.

That form earned him a transfer to Akhmat Grozny in July 2022, though his output there was more modest: 44 league appearances and six goals across two seasons. In August 2024 he signed with Dynamo Makhachkala on a contract running to 2027.

Agalarov has represented Russia extensively at youth level, moving up through the U18, U19, U20 and U21 sides, including a two-goal display against Malta in Euro 2023 qualifying for the U21s. In September 2021 he received his first call-up to the senior national team for World Cup 2022 qualifiers.
