Gizo Mamageishvili

He came through the youth academy at Saburtalo Tbilisi and made his senior debut in December 2020, staying with the club through its 2023 rebrand to Iberia 1999 and captaining the side in his final season there.

The high point of that spell came on 1 December 2024, when he came off the bench against Gagra and both scored and set up a goal to seal the 2024 Erovnuli Liga title. He added a second league championship in 2025, alongside Georgian Cup wins in 2021 and 2023, and was named Best Midfielder of the Erovnuli Liga as well as a member of the Team of the Season in 2025.

He left on a free transfer to Sturm Graz, with the move announced in December 2025 and his contract, a three-and-a-half-year deal running to June 2029, starting on 1 January 2026. He made his debut for the Austrian club on 8 February 2026 against Ried.

Mamageishvili had already worked his way through Georgia's youth setup at U17, U19 and U21 level, including a place in the squad for the 2025 UEFA European Under-21 Championship. He earned his first senior cap on 26 March 2026, playing the full 90 minutes in a 2-2 friendly draw with Israel.
