Henry Brown

Henry Brown came through Grimsby Town's academy, which he joined at the age of eight, and his first senior appearance came before he had signed a professional contract. That was on 12 November 2024 in the EFL Trophy, where Grimsby lost 3–2 to Chesterfield.

The league followed a few months later. On 15 March 2025 he came off the bench against Salford City for his debut in the competition. He signed his first professional deal with the club on 30 May 2025, after those first-team outings.

The next step in his development was outside the club. In January 2026 Grimsby sent him on loan to Gainsborough Trinity, where he played from 28 January until he was recalled on 3 April. He made seven appearances in that time and scored once. The goal was his first in men's football, a penalty against Workington.

Brown was born in Louth, a Lincolnshire town not far from Grimsby. He is right-footed and plays in midfield.
