About the player
Romero, born in Lebrija, started out at local side CA Antoniano and also spent time with Balón de Cádiz before Sevilla took him into their academy in 2018.
At international level, he has represented Spain only at youth level, with appearances for the under-19 and under-21 sides, and has not been called up to the senior national team. He has not won any major titles or individual awards during his career so far, and his move from Antoniano to Sevilla's academy came without a disclosed transfer fee.
