About the player
Isak Skotheim grew up playing for IL Hødd, working his way through the youth ranks before making his senior debut for the club. He spent his early years in the Norwegian Second Division before Hødd's promotion took him into the First Division, the OBOS-ligaen, from 2021 onwards. By the time he left, Skotheim had made 103 league appearances for Hødd, scoring three goals — a long stint that only ended in 2026, when he moved on to Aalesund.
That switch came only a year after he had put pen to paper on a new two-year contract with Hødd in 2025. The fee for his transfer to Aalesund was not disclosed, and he arrives at the Eliteserien club as an offensive midfielder.
Skotheim has yet to add international recognition to his club career, with no senior or youth caps for Norway to his name. For now, his story remains that of a player shaped almost entirely by one club.
