Ivan Georgiev Turitsov

Ivan Turitsov's career has run almost entirely through two Bulgarian clubs and a home he left twice. Born in Pleven, he came up through Litex Lovech's youth ranks before switching to the CSKA Sofia academy, and by 2017 he had earned a place in the first-team squad. That same year CSKA sent him back to Litex Lovech on loan, where he stayed until February 2019 before returning to the capital.

At CSKA Sofia, Turitsov was part of the squad that won the Bulgarian Cup in the 2020/21 season. His contract ran until May 2026, when he left the club as a free agent.

The defender's next move carried added weight. In May 2026 he signed a three-and-a-half-year contract with Dinamo Batumi, and became the Georgian club's first signing since a transfer ban imposed in 2025 was lifted.

Turitsov has also built a steady international career with Bulgaria. He made his senior debut on 26 February 2020 in a friendly against Belarus, which Bulgaria lost 0–1. Since then he has gone on to earn 24 caps, though he is yet to find the net for the national side.
