Jaidon Kya Denley Anthony

Jaidon Anthony's move to Burnley began as a loan, but by the time the season was over the deal became permanent. He scored eight goals and set up seven more across 43 appearances in 2024-25, as the club won the Championship and returned to the Premier League. Burnley made the deal permanent that May.

Anthony had come up through Arsenal's youth ranks before switching to Bournemouth's academy in 2016, signing his first professional contract there in 2020. His route to first-team football included a brief loan at Weymouth in the National League South and a season-long spell at Leeds United in 2023-24, part of a swap deal involving Luis Sinisterra, where he made 31 appearances. At Bournemouth itself he was named Player of the Month in November 2021.

His first season back in the Premier League with Burnley in 2025-26 matched his output from the promotion campaign, with eight goals in 37 appearances. That form led to a transfer to Brentford, reported at around £17 million including add-ons.

Anthony is of Jamaican descent and is eligible to play for Jamaica, though he has not featured for either Jamaica or England at senior level.
