About the player
Jakov Dedić's biggest moment so far came in a Croatia shirt rather than an Osijek one. At the 2026 UEFA European Under-17 Championship he finished as the tournament's top scorer with three goals, including a hat-trick against Spain.
The striker came through Osijek's own pipeline. He started out at ŠNK Baranja Belje, moved on to KNŠ Hypo-Limač, and then joined the NK Osijek academy in February 2020, working his way up through the club's U17 and Junior sides. That progression brought its reward in February 2026, when he made his senior debut for Osijek and went on to make three appearances for the first team.
His form for the youth national side has run alongside his club development. Dedić has represented Croatia at U17 level since making his debut for that age group in October 2025.
At senior club level, the ledger is still short — three appearances for Osijek's first team and no major titles or individual honours to date.
