About the player
Éric Junior Dina Ebimbe came through Paris Saint-Germain's academy from the age of seven, left for a spell at Everton, and returned to sign his first professional contract with PSG in 2018. The club sent him out on loan twice, to Le Havre and then to Dijon FCO. Dijon liked what they saw enough to trigger a buy option in 2021, but PSG blocked the permanent move and kept him, taking compensation instead.
The breakthrough came through Eintracht Frankfurt. A loan for the 2022–2023 season turned into a permanent deal once the club avoided relegation, with Frankfurt paying a fee in the region of €6.5–7 million to make the move permanent. He has operated mainly as a right winger, a role suited to his right foot and physical profile.
His most productive run of form came away from Frankfurt, during a 2025–2026 loan at Stade Brestois 29, where he scored five goals in 27 Ligue 1 appearances. He switched to Cameroon, gaining FIFA approval in December 2025, and has since been capped by the Cameroon national team.
His move to Frankfurt in the first place hinged on Frankfurt's survival in the Bundesliga that season — without it, the loan would not have become permanent.
