About the player
Jeremy Canela came through Sporting Cristal's youth ranks and never made a confirmed first-team competitive appearance for the club.
At Alianza Atlético the Right Winger became a key player. He was part of the squad that won the Peruvian Segunda División in 2020, a title that took the club back up to the Primera División. He kept producing when it mattered: in a 3-3 draw against Unión Comercio during the Torneo Apertura 2023, he scored twice and was named Man of the Match. The following year he finished as Alianza Atlético's top scorer in the 2024 Liga 1 season, netting four goals.
His spell at the club that had defined most of his career ended in June 2025, when he moved to Alianza Universidad on a free transfer. He featured in 15 matches and scored twice in the second half of that season. Sport Huancayo took him on a free transfer in January 2026, and in the first half of the year he made 15 appearances.
