Jonathan Muzinga

The season that set Jonathan Muzinga apart came in 2020, when he finished as top scorer in Kakkonen Group A with 11 goals in 12 matches and was named the group's Player of the Year. He was playing for PK-35 at the time, having moved there from FC Kontu, where he made his senior debut in the fourth-tier Kolmonen in 2018.

From there his career took him through the top of Finnish football, almost always on a free transfer. SJK signed him in 2022. He played for the reserve side in Ykkönen and made one Veikkausliiga appearance for the first team. In November that year he agreed to join FC Honka. He made 14 league appearances and scored two goals in 2023, and Honka reached the Finnish Cup final. The club went bankrupt at the end of that season.

KuPS came next, in January 2024. Muzinga played 19 Veikkausliiga matches, scored three goals and won both the Finnish Championship and the Finnish Cup that year. His contract option was taken up for 2025, but he did not appear in the league for the first team.

In February 2025 he moved to FC Lahti on a permanent contract. He played 14 Ykkösliiga matches, scored five goals and was part of the side that won the league title. In March 2026 he joined Vaasan Palloseura, signing a contract that runs until 31 December 2026.

Muzinga has one cap for Finland at under-21 level, a friendly against Iceland on 7 September 2023. He has yet to play for the senior national team.
