About the player
Six saves in one game is the figure that follows Mamadou Jalloh from the 2025 U-20 Africa Cup of Nations in Egypt. Against the hosts he made six stops, the most by any goalkeeper in a single game at the finals at that stage, and Sierra Leone's Shooting Stars qualified. He was a key player for the side at the tournament.
He holds Danish and Sierra Leonean citizenship and chose the latter. His U20 debut came in March 2025, and the senior team followed the same month in a friendly against Azerbaijan, which remains his only senior cap so far. There is no record of him playing for Denmark at any youth level.
His route to the professional game ran through several Copenhagen-area youth clubs: HB, B1903 and B.93. In 2023 he joined the AC Amager Academy, and from there moved to Brøndby IF. With the club's U19 side he won the Danish U17 Cup in 2023/24. A senior contract at Brøndby followed in 2024/25, and it now runs until the summer of 2028. He has not yet made a first-team appearance for them.
On 25 August 2025 Brøndby loaned him to Vaasan Palloseura for the rest of that season. The club then exercised an option to extend the deal until 30 November 2026, so he stays in Vaasa rather than returning to Denmark.
