About the player
Jerry Navarro's road to first-team football ran through Universitario de Deportes' academy, a path that began at Hijos de Belén before he joined the Lima club's youth ranks. He spent his early years shuttling between levels: a first stint with Universitario's reserve side from January 2020, a loan to Santa Rosa the following year, and a return to Universitario II in January 2022 before finally making his senior debut for the club in October 2022.
The breakthrough into regular first-team football came away from Universitario, however. Sent on loan to Comerciantes Unidos in Liga 2 for the 2023 season, he made 17 appearances and did enough to earn a permanent move there for 2024. That year he played 22 matches and scored his first senior goal, then repeated the 22-appearance tally in 2025, establishing himself as a fixture in the side. In January 2026 he moved on again, joining ADT as a free agent.
Navarro, born in Iquitos, is right-footed and has yet to add international recognition to his club record, with no caps at senior or youth level for Peru.
