Jhon Elmer Solis Romero

Jhon Solís won two trophies in the season he made his senior debut. In 2022 he was part of the Atlético Nacional side that took the Torneo Apertura and the Copa Colombia, having played six league games that year without scoring. A third title, the Superliga de Colombia, followed in 2023, when he made 24 league appearances.

He joined Nacional's academy in 2019 and won the national under-17 tournament with it in 2021. He also played for Colombia at under-15 level (seven caps in 2019) and under-16 level (ten caps in 2020).

On 1 September 2023 he moved to Europe, joining Girona on a five-year contract for a reported €6 million. Over the 2023–24, 2024–25 and 2025–26 seasons he made 49 league appearances for the club and scored once.

In January 2026 he went to Birmingham City on loan until the end of that season. He played 17 league games there and scored one goal. In June 2026 the club activated a €7 million purchase option and signed him on a four-year contract.

At senior international level, Solís received his first call-up in August 2024, for World Cup qualifiers against Peru and Argentina. As of early 2026 he had not yet made his debut for the senior side.

Outside the pitch, he was included in the FUTTIES EVO team in EA FC 24, though he has won no major individual awards.
