João Adriano Sá de Almeida

João Adriano spent seven years in São Paulo FC's youth academy, joining in 2017. Within that spell he collected a string of age-group honours, including the Campeonato Paulista Sub-15, the Copa do Brasil Sub-17 in 2020, the Supercopa do Brasil Sub-17 and the Campeonato Paulista Sub-17. He was named in the club's senior squad for the 2021 season but did not go on to make a competitive first-team appearance there.

His move away from São Paulo came in August 2024, when he transferred permanently to Athletic Club, of Minas Gerais. The switch, confirmed publicly in September of that year, took him into the Campeonato Brasileiro Série C, where Athletic finished as runners-up and won promotion to Série B for the following season. He remained with the club through the 2025 Série B campaign.

In July 2025 he moved to Portugal on loan, joining UD Oliveirense from Athletic Club for a spell running to the end of June 2026. He has featured for Oliveirense in the 2025/2026 Liga Portugal 2 season, though without finding the net so far.

A further move followed in July 2026, when he left Athletic Club for FC Gandzasar Kapan in Armenia. He has not been capped by Brazil at any level, senior or youth.
