João Paulo da Silva Alves

João Paulo da Silva Alves began his senior career at Desportiva Guarabira before a loan spell at Botafogo-PB. What followed was a long stretch through the lower tiers of Brazilian football — Penedense, Ypiranga-BA and Estanciano all in the same year, then further moves to ASA.

The turning point came at Tombense in 2017, where João Paulo finally settled and stayed for five years. At Santa Cruz he scored six goals in Serie B; at Atlético Goianiense, across two separate loan spells, he made 33 and 34 appearances respectively and contributed goals in both. He also went out to Avaí, Ponte Preta and Fortaleza, gathering experience across Brazil's top two divisions.

In 2022 he signed for Cruzeiro and was part of the squad that won the Série B title that year, limited him to seven appearances and two goals during the campaign. The following year he went on loan to CRB, making 17 appearances and scoring twice in Serie B.

João Paulo joined São Bernardo in June 2025 as a free agent. At the club he wears the number 28 shirt and has featured in the Campeonato Paulista and the Copa do Brasil, scoring in the state championship.
