About the player
Silva began his career with Sporting CP B in Liga 2, where he made 39 appearances and scored twice. The step up came on 3 March 2025, when he was handed a debut for the first team against Estoril, coming on in the 78th minute.
That season brought two trophies: the Liga Portugal title and the Taça de Portugal. Silva did not play in the final of either competition, though he came off the bench in the league match that sealed the championship.
In January 2026 Sporting loaned him to Arouca until the end of the season in June. He played four matches there before the move to Gil Vicente was agreed.
Silva holds dual Portuguese and Guinea-Bissau citizenship. He has been called up to the Portugal under-20 side. He has not been called up by the senior national team.
