Josué Tiehndrèbeogo

The 2023–24 season in the Burkina Faso Premier League is the one that carries his name. Tiendrébéogo finished it as the division's leading scorer and was named Player of the Season, having already taken the AJSB Player of the Month award for October 2023. Majestic FC finished second; he left the club without a league title.

He had come through the Football Plus Academy in Ouagadougou between 2014 and 2019, then spent five years in Majestic's first team, making 96 appearances and scoring 16 goals.

FC Annecy signed him on a free transfer in August 2024, taking him into Ligue 2. The return there was more modest: 39 appearances and five goals in total by early 2026, of which two goals came in 19 Ligue 2 matches and one in two Coupe de France ties. In February 2026 he moved again, joining FK IMT Novi Beograd in the Serbian SuperLiga for an undisclosed fee, and has made about a dozen appearances since.

With Burkina Faso he had 12 caps and two goals as of September 2025. Both goals came against Djibouti in 2026 World Cup qualifying, in March and again in September 2025. His other qualifying appearances include matches against Guinea-Bissau, Egypt, Sierra Leone and Ethiopia, and he played in the Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers against Senegal and Malawi in November 2024. Earlier, he featured against Ivory Coast at CHAN 2022, and has appeared in friendlies against Tunisia and Zimbabwe.
