Justin Quincy Hubner

Justin Hubner grew up in the Dutch football system, moving through the Willem II and FC Den Bosch academies before Wolverhampton Wanderers took him on in February 2020. He spent five years in the Wolves academy, rose through the under-18s and under-21s, and captained the under-21 side, finishing his time there as the club's under-21 Player of the Season for 2024–25. He was released in the summer of 2025 without making a senior appearance for the club.

In between, Wolves sent him on loan to Cerezo Osaka in Japan for the 2024 season. He made six J1 League appearances and two in the J.League Cup before the move was ended early that July. He signed for Fortuna Sittard as a free agent on 29 July 2025 and made his debut for the club on 8 August 2025, scoring his first goal as a professional against Go Ahead Eagles on 11 January 2026.

Hubner's international story took an unusual turn. Having represented the Netherlands at under-20 level, he switched allegiance and naturalised as an Indonesian citizen in December 2023, making his senior debut for Indonesia against Libya on 2 January 2024. He was part of the Indonesia squad at the 2023 AFC Asian Cup that reached the knockout stage for the first time in the country's history. He has since gone on to earn 21 caps and score one goal for the national team.
