Kapitbafan Djoco

Kapit Djoco's route to the professional game ran through years of French amateur football before it ever touched a professional contract. Born in Paris, he started out at US Avranches and moved on through AS Poissy, FCM Aubervilliers, C'Chartres Football and FC Rouen without ever pushing higher than the lower tiers.

The breakthrough came at FC Versailles 78. Across the 2021–2022 season he scored 13 goals in 35 appearances, helped the club up into the National league and was part of a run to the semi-finals of the Coupe de France, where Versailles were eliminated by OGC Nice. That form carried him to SC Bastia in 2022, where he signed his first professional contract and scored 4 goals in 37 appearances over two seasons.

A move to FC Annecy in January 2024 gave him his heaviest workload yet: 50 appearances and 9 goals. Sochaux signed him on a two-season deal in July 2025, and he settled quickly, reaching 32 appearances and 11 goals by the following June. He was named "Homme du match" for Sochaux in a game against LB Châteauroux.

Djoco holds French citizenship and has Senegalese heritage, though he has not represented either country at international level. Right-footed and built at 186cm, he plays as a central forward.
