About the player
Kenji Joel Gorré grew up in the youth ranks of Manchester City and then Manchester United before finishing his development at Swansea City, where his talent first stood out at under-21 level: in the 2014–15 season he scored 18 goals and set up another 10, earning the club's Under-21s Player of the Year award and helping the side win the Professional Development League Two title.
At Nacional he became a regular presence in attack, scoring eight goals in 67 appearances and winning the Segunda Liga title in 2019–20, with a loan stint at Estoril along the way.
In July 2025 Gorré signed for Maccabi Haifa as a free agent on a two-year deal and was made captain.
Internationally, Gorré is the son of former professional footballer Dean Gorré and represents Curaçao, for whom he made his debut in 2019 against Jamaica. He has since become a fixture in the national side and was named in the squad for the 2026 FIFA World Cup, the first time Curaçao have reached the tournament.
