Kastriot Imeri

Kastriot Imeri joined Servette's academy in 2013 and worked his way up through the youth ranks before making his senior debut for the club in March 2017. He was part of the squad that won the Swiss Challenge League in 2018–19, earning promotion to the Swiss Super League, and two years later he was named the competition's Young Player of the Year for the 2020–21 season.

His performances at Servette convinced BSC Young Boys to move for him in August 2022, paying a fee reported as a Swiss record for a domestic transfer within the Super League at the time. He signed a four-year contract and quickly became part of a side that won the Swiss Super League and Swiss Cup double in his first season at the club.

In August 2025, Imeri went out on loan to FC Thun for the season and played a key role as the club won their first-ever Swiss Super League title. The following September he moved to 1. FC Union Berlin, reuniting with Mauro Lustrinelli, his former coach at Thun.

Imeri made his senior debut for Switzerland in November 2021, in a World Cup qualifier against Italy. He featured at the 2023 European Under-21 Championship, where he scored against Italy and set up a goal against England.
