About the player
Kayla Jardine left Rangers for Hearts on a three-year contract in the summer of 2024, taking squad number 14 in midfield. With an SWPL Cup win in 2022, she spent two loan spells at Motherwell in 2023, returning eight appearances and eight goals during that stretch.
Hearts won the SWPL 1 Championship in the 2025/2026 season. In February 2026 she scored twice against Queen's Park and was named in the SWPL Team of the Week for her performance.
Jardine has also built a steady record at international level. She has featured for Scotland's under-19 side, scoring twice in 16 caps, and earlier represented the under-17s, scoring once in two appearances. She has since been called up to the under-23 squad.
