About the player
Born in Tbilisi, he came through the youth ranks at Dinamo Tbilisi before starting his senior career with Iberia 2010 in Gori and then Spaeri.
The breakthrough came at FC Sioni Bolnisi, where he scored 11 goals in 67 league appearances and helped the club win the Erovnuli Liga 2 to secure promotion. A free transfer to FC Samgurali Tskhaltubo in January 2023: 19 goals in 79 league appearances, including a spell as the club's top scorer in the 2024 season with 11 league goals. That form earned him the Erovnuli Liga's "Discovery of the Year" award from the newspaper Lelo and a Best Player of the Period recognition for the second half of 2024.
Khorkheli joined Spartak Trnava on a three-year deal in September 2025, and needed little time to adjust. Between March and April 2026 he scored five goals in seven appearances, contributing to a third-place finish that took the club into the second qualifying round of the UEFA Conference League.
At international level, Khorkheli has represented Georgia at under-21 level, earning four caps between 2022 and 2023 without scoring, but has not yet featured for the senior national side.
