Luka Vrzic

Vrzić came through Dinamo Zagreb's academy before a short spell at NK Rudeš, where he spent the 2021–2022 season in the youth ranks. He joined HNK Gorica's youth setup in the summer of 2022, before breaking into the senior team. His first-team debut came on 13 April 2024, when he was brought on as a substitute against Dinamo Zagreb, the club where he had started out. That summer he signed a permanent contract with Gorica running to 2028, arriving from Rudeš on a free transfer.

The minutes have grown steadily since. Five appearances in his debut season became 18 the year after, then 29 in 2025/2026, a campaign in which he also scored his first senior goal. By September 2026 he already had another seven or eight appearances to his name in the new season, a sign that he has moved from fringe substitute to a regular part of the squad.

At youth international level, Vrzić has been a fixture for Croatia. He played at the 2024 UEFA European Under-17 Championship in Cyprus, then stepped up to the under-18s for friendly matches the same year. He has since settled into the under-19 side, where he has scored three goals in eight caps, including strikes during the Euro U19 qualifying campaign.

A right-footed forward who operates on the wing, he plays with the number 20 on his back at Gorica, though at this stage of his career the story is still mostly about first-team minutes rather than titles or individual honours.
