About the player
Marvin Keller was born in London and came through the Grasshopper Club Zürich academy, progressing from the U15 side up to the U21s without ever making a competitive first-team appearance for the Zürich club. His path to regular football came in June 2021, when he moved to FC Wil 1900 in the Challenge League, where he made 52 competitive appearances.
He made his Young Boys debut in May 2023 and was part of the squad that won the Swiss Super League and Swiss Cup double that season, though he did not feature in the cup final win over FC Lugano, with David von Ballmoos in goal that day. To get regular first-team football, Young Boys sent him on loan to FC Winterthur for the 2023/24 Super League season, where he made 31 appearances.
Keller earned his first senior Switzerland cap in a friendly against Jordan and was named in the squad for the 2026 World Cup.
