Massien Gaddari

Massien Ghaddari came through Utrecht's own pipeline, moving from Sportorganisatie Soest into the FC Utrecht academy in the 2014/2015 season and working his way up to the O18 side. A right-footed defender who plays mainly at right-back but can also fill in on the left or in midfield, he capped his youth spell with the 2023 Otten Innovation Cup, scoring twice in the final against Rangers FC.

He stepped up to Jong FC Utrecht in March 2024, making 27 appearances with 2 goals and an assist in his first full season, then following it with 26 appearances, 3 goals and an assist the season after. In September 2024, injuries to Siebe Horemans and Niklas Vesterlund pulled him into first-team training, and he played two full friendly matches for the senior side, though an official Eredivisie debut has not followed yet.

At international level, Ghaddari was called up to the Netherlands' Oranje Onder 17 squad in April 2022 for a training camp and a friendly against Belgium. His contract with FC Utrecht runs to the summer of 2027, tying his development to the club that has shaped his career from youth level onward.
