About the player
Mees Laros has never played for another club. He joined FC Den Bosch's academy in 2014 and worked his way straight through to the first team without a detour elsewhere. His professional debut came on 4 August 2023, and he signed his first contract that November, a deal extended in November 2024 through to June 2028.
The defender scored his first senior goal on 31 January 2025, in the 71st minute of a 3-0 win over FC Volendam from a Danny Verbeek cross. His second came in the 2025/26 season, a 91st-minute winner away at RKC Waalwijk. On 21 August 2026, against FC Eindhoven, he reached his 100th appearance for Den Bosch and set up a goal in the same match.
Interest from FC Utrecht and Heracles Almelo has been reported, with valuations put at between €400,000 and €600,000, though Laros has stayed at Den Bosch throughout. He has not been called up by the Netherlands at any level.
