Nikolas Terkelsen Nartey

Denmark's under-17 side had Nikolas Terkelsen Nartey score six goals in eleven caps. He came through the Akademisk Boldklub youth system before F.C. Copenhagen took him on for its U19 team, and in January 2017, 1. FC Köln signed him for a fee in the region of €500,000–€600,000. Senior football at Köln was limited to two appearances, one in the Bundesliga and one in the 2. Bundesliga, while he became a regular for the club's second team, scoring three goals in 27 Regionalliga matches.

VfB Stuttgart paid around €300,000 for him in August 2019 and sent him out on loan twice to build senior experience: a season at Hansa Rostock in the 3. Liga produced 19 appearances and a goal, and a season at SV Sandhausen brought 24 appearances in the 2. Bundesliga. Back in Stuttgart, he spent time with the club's second team before establishing himself with the first team, for whom he has now made 47 senior appearances and scored four goals, including his first senior goal for the club during the 2025–26 season. In May 2026 he extended his contract with Stuttgart until 2028.

Nartey worked his way through every Denmark youth level, from the U16s up to 16 caps and two goals for the U21s, before his senior debut arrived on 26 March 2026 in a World Cup qualifier away to North Macedonia, a match Denmark won 4–0.
