About the player
Noel Žiković got his place at SV Kapfenberg through a two-week trial. When it ended, he moved from NK Uljanik to the Austrian club on 6 February 2026.
Žiković left the youth system of NK Funtana in 2018 for NK Istra 1961, where he stayed until 2023. He was loaned to NK Jadran Poreč for the 2020–21 season, spent 2021–22 on loan at NK Uljanik, and went back to Jadran Poreč for 2022–23.
Uljanik became the club where he settled. In August 2023 he signed there permanently. He made 55 league appearances for them, and in 2024 the club won promotion to the Croatian Third League (3. NL). Žiković is a right-footed centre-back from Pula, and he stayed at Uljanik until he left for Kapfenberg.
Kapfenberg play in the Austrian 2. Liga, and Žiković has appeared for them in the league and in the ÖFB Cup. By September 2026 he had yet to score for the club and had received one yellow card.
He has not played for a senior national team.
