About the player
Nassim-Othmane Zoukit came through the Spanish academy system, with youth spells at Lugo and Girona, before returning to Switzerland to build his career in the domestic pyramid. He is of Moroccan descent and holds dual Swiss and Moroccan nationality, though he has not yet earned a senior cap for either country.
His breakthrough came at Étoile Carouge, where across two spells he made over 70 appearances and scored 10 goals from defence. A move to Lausanne-Sport followed, interrupted by a loan to AC Bellinzona, before he returned to Étoile Carouge for a second stint. He then joined FC Aarau as a free agent for the 2025/26 Challenge League season.
Zoukit signed for FC Thun and has since had his first taste of European football, playing in both continental competitions with the club: two matches in the Champions League second qualifying round against GNK Dinamo Zagreb, and four in the Europa League, arriving straight off the back of a season in the second tier.
