Nikita Medvedev

Nikita Medvedev once held the Russian Premier League record for the longest run without conceding: 1,034 minutes, spread across nine consecutive clean sheets for Rostov between late November 2016 and early May 2017, a club record that also carried him into his Europa League debut.

He came through the ranks in his native Izhevsk, moving through the city's football school and academy before joining Zenit-Izhevsk, where he made 44 league appearances in the top of his youth into senior football.

Joining Lokomotiv Moscow as a free agent in the summer of 2017, Medvedev collected a Russian Premier League title, a Russian Cup and a Russian Super Cup without featuring in most of the matches that won them, making only two or three senior appearances across three years there. Spells at Rubin Kazan and a return to Rostov followed the same pattern, six and eight league appearances respectively, before he signed a three-year contract with Pari Nizhny Novgorod as a free agent in June 2024.

At international level, he was called up to Russia's senior training camp and to the under-21 side for a European Under-21 Championship qualifier against Germany, but did not appear for either.
