About the player
Nurbol Anuarbekov started out at his hometown club, Ekibastuz, before a move to Aksu brought him a First Division championship in 2021. From there his career took him through Kaisar and Zhenis, interspersed with loan spells at Zhenis Zhas and Ulytau, before he joined Zhetysu on loan in 2025 and then signed permanently.
The forward has become Zhetysu's leading scorer this season, with seven goals in 24 matches, placing him 23rd in the Kazakhstan Premier League's scoring charts. He has not collected individual awards or trophies over the course of his career.
Anuarbekov's only representative football came at youth level, when he was called up to Kazakhstan's under-19 side in 2016 and made three appearances in friendly matches. He has not featured for the senior national team.
Zhetysu now holds his contract until the end of 2026, wearing the number 77 shirt.
