Omari Joshua Curtis Patrick

The goal Omari Patrick is most closely associated with came at Wembley in the 2023 EFL League Two play-off final, when he scored the decisive goal for Carlisle United and secured promotion.

Trials with Brentford, Barnet and Rangers did not lead to a contract, and he began at the FAB Academy before moving into non-league football with Beaconsfield SYCOB. Kidderminster Harriers followed in December 2015, then Barnsley, where he did not make a first-team appearance. Bradford City signed him in May 2017 and gave him a new three-year contract that August. Loan spells at Yeovil Town and Wrexham followed. At Wrexham he scored five goals in ten appearances.

Carlisle became the club where he settled. He signed in January 2020, spent a season at Burton Albion, and returned in January 2022. He made 56 appearances in his second spell and scored 13 goals. Carlisle supporters named him their Player of the Year for 2021–22.

A year at Sutton United ended in relegation, and he left after turning down a new contract. In August 2024 he joined Tranmere Rovers on a free transfer. He finished the 2024–25 season as the club's top scorer, with 11 league goals in 46 appearances, four of them coming in October 2024. By May 2026 he had played 81 times for Tranmere and scored 18 league goals.

His contract at Tranmere expired that month. On 22 July 2026 he signed a two-year deal with Forest Green Rovers on a free transfer.
