About the player
Oleksandr Kemkin came up through the Zaporizhzhia region before Shakhtar Donetsk took him into its youth system in 2019. He spent two years on the Donetsk club's books without ever making a senior appearance, a spell that ended with a free transfer to Minai in July 2021.
He joined Karpaty Lviv in June 2024, signing a three-year contract; reports at the time said Karpaty had seen off interest from a foreign club to get the deal done. Kryvbas exercised that option in June 2026, signing him permanently for a fee reported in the region of €175,000 to €200,000.
At Kryvbas, Kemkin has made five appearances in the Ukrainian Premier League this season, starting every one of them. He has yet to add a senior or youth cap for Ukraine to his record.
