About the player
Arka Gdynia signed Patryk Szysz on a free transfer on 2 September 2025, on a contract running until June 2026.
Szysz began at Górnik Łęczna, spending a loan spell at Motor Lublin along the way, where he won the Lublin subdistrict Polish Cup. There he became a regular over three seasons, playing 100 matches and scoring 23 goals before joining İstanbul Başakşehir on a free transfer in 2022.
His spell in Turkey was interrupted by injury: Szysz suffered a torn ACL and meniscus damage in May 2023, a setback that cut into his time on the pitch.
He has yet to add a senior cap to his record.
