Rubén García Santos

Rubén García Santos came through Valencia CF's academy before moving to Levante UD, where he broke into senior football with Atlético Levante in the Tercera División and Segunda División B. He signed his first professional contract with Levante in January 2012 and made his La Liga debut for the club that September. Over six seasons with the first team he played 129 league matches and scored eight goals, and he was part of the Levante side that won the Segunda División title in 2016–17.

In August 2018, Osasuna took him on loan from Levante, with the two clubs splitting his federative rights. In June 2019 Osasuna exercised their option to buy out Levante's remaining share for a fixed fee of three million euros, with further payments tied to the club staying in La Liga. That same season he won a second Segunda División title, this time with Osasuna. He reached the Copa del Rey final in 2022–23, where Osasuna finished runners-up.

A left-footed winger, García has also represented Spain at under-20 level, featuring at the 2013 FIFA U-20 World Cup in Turkey, and went on to earn under-21 recognition.
