Rostislav Soldatenko

Rostislav Soldatenko switched to goalkeeping only at 13, having started out as a defender in the Alania Vladikavkaz academy. He spent nearly a decade there before moving into the professional game, with brief spells at Neftekhimik Nizhnekamsk and TSK-Tavria Simferopol preceding his move to SKA Rostov-on-Don, where he made his senior debut in 2016.

The following years took him through Dynamo St Petersburg and Sochi, the latter arriving after Dynamo's relocation, before he returned to where it all began. A loan to Alania Vladikavkaz in 2019 turned into a permanent deal a year later, and Soldatenko became a regular fixture there, racking up 151 appearances across four seasons.

In January 2025 he left on a free transfer for Chornomorets Novorossiysk, a stopgap before a bigger move arrived that June: Torpedo Moscow signed him on a contract running to 2028. The fee has been reported differently across outlets — Transfermarkt and others put it at around €80,000, while Bombardir.ru cited a lower figure — with no official amount confirmed by the clubs. He has made 11 appearances for Torpedo so far.

At international level, Soldatenko has represented Russia only at Under-16 level, making four appearances for that age group between September 2012 and February 2013 and conceding a single goal. He has not featured for the senior national side.
