About the player
Rudi Vikström scored 42 goals in 32 Kolmonen matches for Jaro Akademi, the FF Jaro academy side he joined in 2023 from Esse IK.
The step came in stages. In 2024 he was loaned to Jakobstads BK, where he played once and scored once. The following year he signed a senior contract with FF Jaro and made his senior debut in 2025.
His first full season in the Veikkausliiga brought 14 league appearances, three goals and one assist. He was 17 when the season began, and he played a regular part in it.
The start of 2026 was his most productive spell for the club. In the League Cup he scored seven goals in five matches for FF Jaro.
In August 2026 he moved to Sweden, joining IK Oddevold of the Superettan on a contract that runs until 31 December 2029. It is his first club outside Finland.
He has also played for Finland at youth level. With the Under-19 side he has won 10 caps and scored five goals, so he has found the net in every second international appearance.
Vikström is from Jakobstad, and his career has stayed close to that part of Finland.
