Oddevold

Oddevold spent last season chasing the top half of Superettan and found it, finishing fourth after climbing back up from the division below in 2023. Twelve months earlier the club had been mid-table in Sweden's second tier, so the jump mattered; it followed a 12th-place finish in 2024, the year the promotion from Division 1 Södra first took hold.

The club, formally Idrottsklubben Oddevold, was formed in Uddevalla on 3 July 1932 and has spent almost all of its history below the top flight. The one exception came in 1996, when a Division 1 Södra title won the previous year under coach Torbjörn Nilsson carried the side into Allsvenskan. They finished 14th and went straight back down, and that single season in the elite remains the high point.

Home games are played at Rimnersvallen, though not the ground long-time supporters knew. The old arena was demolished in 2021, and the replacement opened in September 2023 holds 4,050, a fraction of the roughly 10,000 it used to seat. Oddevold play in white shirts and blue shorts at home, switching to yellow entirely on the road, and the Bohus Bataljon carries the noise behind the goal.

Few names travel further from Uddevalla than Ralf Edström's. He went on to 40 caps for Sweden and was named the country's footballer of the year in 1974, though it was elsewhere that his career in the top division was built. Oddevold's own graduate with the fuller international record is Johan Arneng, who made 11 appearances for the national side after coming through the club.
