Örebro SK

Behrn Arena sits on the Eyravallen site it has occupied since long before it carried a sponsor's name, and the ground kept the older name, Eyravallen, until 2005. It holds around 12,645 seats.

That founding came out of a split. On 28 October 1908, a group of 79 young men broke away from IFK Örebro, led by Pelle Molin and Karl Graflund, and formed a club of their own. The strip was black at first; in 1922 the shirts turned white and the shorts stayed black, which is where the nickname Svartvitt comes from.

Örebro has never won Allsvenskan and has never won the Swedish Cup. The club has gone up and down between divisions repeatedly, with promotions back to Allsvenskan recorded in 1946, 1948, 1960, 1988, 2006 and 2014.

Andrs Karlsson holds the appearance record, 379 matches between 1984 and 2002, and Thomas Nordahl remains the club's top scorer in Allsvenskan with 106 goals through the 1960s and 1970s. Orvar Bergmark's connection runs deeper than a scoring line: he played for the club across three spells between 1948 and 1965, and later returned as head coach.
