About the player
Not many players stay involved with Halmstad long enough to leave twice and come back for a third spell, but Rasmus Wiedesheim-Paul has done so. He came up through BK Astrio before joining the Halmstads BK academy, breaking into the first team in 2016 and staying attached to the club, on and off, for nearly a decade.
The middle years of his career read like a tour of Swedish and Norwegian mid-table football. Loan spells took him to Landskrona BoIS and IFK Värnamo while he was still finding his footing, and later to Mjällby AIF , Helsingborgs IF , HamKam in Norway and IK Oddevold .
The one settled stretch came at Rosenborg , where he spent four seasons from 2020. He returned to Halmstads BK afterwards.
