About the player
Before Örebro, Samuel Wikman's move through Swedish football went almost unnoticed outside the clubs he passed through, and his path has been complicated by a name he shares with his father, the well-known coach Magnus Wikman — the two are not the same person, and the son's playing record belongs to him alone. Wikman came up through Uppsala-Kurd FK before joining IK Sirius, where he made his Allsvenskan debut in November 2020.
What followed was a run of loan spells that took him around the country rather than settling him anywhere: a year at Gefle IF, then another at Umeå FC, before a permanent switch to Dalkurd FF in 2023. It was at Vasalunds IF, between 2024 and 2025, that Wikman found his most productive spell, playing 56 matches and scoring 14 goals.
In January 2026, Örebro SK signed Wikman on a three-year contract, handing him the number 7 shirt.
