About the player
Manasse Kusu moved to Sweden in 2012 and started out in the academy at IK Sleipner before joining the setup at IFK Norrköping in 2017, a stint that included a loan spell at IF Sylvia. He then spent three seasons at Östers IF, making 85 league appearances and scoring five goals.
In the summer of 2024, Kusu signed for Mjällby AIF. The following year he went out on loan to Finnish side FF Jaro, where he played 24 matches. At the start of 2026 he returned to Sweden on loan, joining Örebro SK, where he wears the number 8 shirt.
Kusu has represented Sweden at youth level, appearing 22 times for the under-17s, 11 times for the under-19s and twice for the under-20s. He has not featured for the senior national team.
