About the player
Shon Edri came through Maccabi Tel Aviv's youth system, signing his first professional contract with the club in 2022. Born in Gedera, the right-footed defender can also play in midfield.
In June 2024, he joined Ironi Kiryat Shmona on loan for the season and made nine appearances there. Rather than returning to Maccabi Tel Aviv, he was loaned out again in January 2025, this time to Hapoel Petah Tikva, continuing the pattern of picking up experience away from his parent club.
Edri's route also passed through Hapoel Ironi Rishon LeZion before he committed his future to Kiryat Shmona on a permanent basis in June 2026. At the Galilee club he has worn the number 44 shirt.
