About the player
Strahinja Jovanović came through Partizan's academy, spending sixteen years there before breaking into the first team in 2017. He stayed with the Belgrade club until 2020, winning the Serbian Cup in the 2017/18 season, though loan spells at Teleoptik and Proleter Zrenjanin took him away from the first-team picture along the way.
After leaving Partizan, Jovanović moved between Serbian clubs, playing for Spartak Subotica, Žarkovo and Železničar Pančevo. In the summer of 2024 he signed for Bosnia's Radnik Bijeljina as a free agent, before relocating to Kazakhstan in 2025 to join Okzhetpes. In January 2026 he signed for Zhetysu, again as a free agent, on a contract running to the end of 2026.
He represented Serbia across the under-16 to under-21 age groups, making 25 appearances and scoring four goals, but has not been called into the senior national side.
