About the player
Surkhai Khan Abdullaev came through the reserve set-up at Ural Ekaterinburg, spending three years shuttling between the club's second team in the Second League and the youth side in the Youth Football League.
At KAMAZ his workload grew steadily: 13 appearances in his first partial season rose to 25 the following year and then to 31, with two goals in the most recent campaign in the PARI First League. He also found the net in the Russian Cup, scoring in his only appearance in that competition during the 2024/2025 season.
In June 2026, Neftekhimik Nizhnekamsk announced his signing, again on a free transfer, with the deal taking effect from July. He has settled quickly into his new surroundings, making 11 First League appearances for the club so far and adding an assist, along with one outing in the Russian Cup.
Abdullaev has built his career on gradual accumulation of minutes rather than a single defining moment or trophy, moving from reserve football into an established run of appearances at First League level.
