Taavi Kangaskokko has spent his early senior career with SJK Akatemia, the reserve side of SJK Seinäjoki, rather than in the club's first team. That is where he has played his football in the Ykkösliiga, the second tier, and in the third-tier Kakkonen.
His first season at senior level was 2024, and it was in the Kakkonen that he scored most. He finished with five goals in Group C. He also scored once in the Ykkösliiga that year. Akatemia reached the final of the Ykköscup in 2024 and finished as runners-up.
