About the player
In January 2022 he moved to VfB Stuttgart on loan, with an option to buy attached. He made an immediate impact in the Bundesliga, scoring four goals in 14 league appearances in that first half-season, and added three more the following campaign across 27 games. Across the two loan spells he totalled 47 appearances, eight goals and three assists for Stuttgart. Stuttgart chose not to exercise the purchase option, and he returned to Sporting in the summer of 2023.
He made his under-21 debut against Croatia in March 2021 and has gone on to earn 24 caps at that level, scoring twice.
